Bass Harbor Lighthouse, or, Bass Harbor Head Light Station, as it’s officially referred to by the National Registry of Historic Places, sits on a cliff in Tremont, Maine on Mount Desert Island.

The lighthouse is near Acadia National Park, making it one of the more popular Maine lighthouses for toursits to visit.

This painting depicts the lighthouse and keeper’s quarters as seen from the bottom of the cliff at the mouth of Bass Harbor.

The original painting has been sold, however prints are available from my official printshop at FineArtNewEngland.Pixels.com.

This painting was done as part of my quest to visit and paint every lighthouse in the state of Maine. You can follow my progress at my Maine Lighthouse Paintings blog.
