ABC5 Boston’s Chronicle Story About My Journey to Visit and Paint All Maine’s Lighthouses.
The producers of Chronicle, a Boston area news magazine focusing on stories about New England, learned about my quest to paint all of Maine’s Lighthouses and asked to do a story about it.
The piece was for a themed episode about “completists.” My story was featured along side a Massachusetts couple on a mission to eat at a restaurant in every town in the state, and a pair of friends setting out to play at all of the Bay State’s mini golf courses.
Anthony (the host), Rich (the cameraman), and Jon (the producer) came up to my Portland, Maine studio in late January. We had a great visit then went out to Bug Light Park for some local scenery. Anthony and I did our segment and got back into our warm cars right away, but Rich and Jon braved the elements like the professionals they are to get some great drone of the lighthouse and Casco Bay.
I was nervous about being on tv, but they all made it a great experience and I’m pretty happy with how the piece came out.
