Portland Breakwater Lighthouse, known as “Bug Light” to the locals is located in South Portland, Maine. This painting was done in 2017 and depicts Portland Harbor as seen from the Maine State Pier. A white lobster boat steams by in the foreground past Bug Light. The muted pink, green and gray trees of the background picture the colors of early Spring as Maine leaves Winter behind.
