Spring Point Lighthouse sits at the entrance of Portland Harbor on Casco Bay in Maine. This painting depicts the lighthouse against a dark, cloudy background. A lone fisherman sits, undaunted by the weather, fishing off the end of the jetty, enjoying the sunlight breaking through the clouds shining on the lighthouse. Iconic Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth can be seen in the background.
